Wheel F7: Brass and Bronze and Brown Shimmers

As you can see from the title of this post, I'm not entirely sure what to call the polishes I have for this Nail Wheel Wednesday. I'm pretty confident with the "shimmers" part, though a few do have some glitter tendencies. I guess leaving it at just "brown shimmers" would have worked, as these are all brown, provided you have an inclusive defintion of that color.

1. Confetti Debutante (3 coats) [I have no idea why I bought this, since it's frosty golden color, so not likely to flatter me, and it's also not a brand I have a sentimental attachment to]
2. Maybelline Express Finish Taupward (3) [not entirely sure why I bought this, either, though I'm guessing I fell prey to LE fever]
3. Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Antique Frost (3) [I do know why I bought this; Sally's my girl, even though she does stuff like discontinue the Nail Prisms]
4. Leighton Denny Sugar Daddy (3) [I would own so much more of this brand if it were readily available here]
5. Sally Hansen Insta Dri Instant Coffee (2) [nearly a one-coater]
6. China Glaze Delight (2)
7. Butter London The Old Bill (3)
8. LA Girls Metal Brass (2) [quite a nice finish on this one]
9. Maybelline Express Finish Blackened Bronze (2) [love this color, so rich looking]
10. OPI Warm & Fozzie (3) [so pretty with the microflakies; I should pull this out as it's perfect for autumm]
11. Revlon Catty (2)
12. Shades of the Season unlabelled (2) [certainly didn't expect such a complex polish to come out of a cheap holiday set]
13. China Glaze Magical (2) [not finding the brushstrokes so magical]
14. Clarins 211 (2) [poor 211, always in the shadow of her famous sister, 230]
15. B O 061 (2)
16. Sparitual Muse (3)
17. Rimmel Play Fast Scene Stealer (3) [Play Fast was such a nice line; too bad Rimmel axed it]
18. Revlon Street Wear Breathless (3) [could have used topcoat]
19. Revlon Street Wear Incognito (3) [ditto, and I don't see that this is much different than 18]
20. OPI You Don't Know Jacques Suede (2) [nearly a one-coater; oh how I love the OPI Suedes]

16 through 20:

As far as the destash notes go on this one, I think I can let go of 1, 2, 6, 13, and 18 or 19 for sure. If I put shiny topcoat on 20 (or matte topcoat on 8), they'd look alike, so I could destash one of those. 11 is smelly, and I'm sure I have another similar metallic, so it can probably go. Much as I like the way Butter London bottles store so efficiently in my Helmers, and the satisfying click of putting the overcap back on, I could see destashing 7 as well.

  1. I really love the darker brown shades with obvious shimmer, like 8, 10 and 20! This nail wheel looks very classy :)
