Franken: Not Yet Spring

Emboldened by my success the first time I tried using eyeshadow in a franken, I stepped up the complexity for my second one. Here's how it turned out:

I used two colors of eyeshadow this time, but since I didn't want to end up with brown, I made sure to pick two shades that were close to each other in hue, a light blue grey and a charcoal grey. Using Confetti Tiara as a base worked out well before so I used it again, but I also used a second polish, hoping to add some opaqueness and a hint of my favorite color, purple. For that duty, I chose Colorama Lilac Freeze. (In the background, you can see how I tend to cover any nearby surface with stuff when left to my own devices: there's a pack of nail wheels, a bag of balls, and part of my Sharpie marker collection lurking in the background).

It's still on the sheer side (I used four coats and have some visible nail line, but not as much as with the first Tiara-based franken), and I still need to work harder on mixing in the eyeshadow because I see a few dark clumps. Overall, though, I'm happy with it; it's something I can see myself wearing for a full mani.

For my next franken, I believe I will return to my first love, glitter. I'm not giving up working with eyeshadow but I can only go so long without something super sparkly to play with.
