Hidden Treasure is getting most of the attention being given to Sally Hansen's Spring 2010 Complete Salon release, but there are thirteen other polishes in that display and so far I've bought seven of them. Not all at once, but repeated exposure weakens my resistance. The first of these I wore as a full mani was Ring My Shell, which is a pale warm lilac in the bottle but disappointingly lost almost all its color on my nails. I liked the finish--a glass fleck with a hint of frosty shimmer--and it wore well on me; I just wish it looked more like the bottle color on me.
Mid-week I refreshed with one coat of A Perfect "10" (why the quotes? I do not know) After Party and another layer of my usual top coat. This added a few sparkles and made me a little happier but I was still not that entranced.
I hadn't put the Ring My Shell away yet when I swatched Have You Seen My Limo, so I figured I might as well try layering it over the dark plum. Oh my yes, that's better.
