And some detail pictures, because I've decided I like them for nail wheels even if they're not glitters or holos:
I've thought about taking bottle pictures to go along with the wheels; let me know in the comments if that's something you'd like to see.

Edited 22-Nov-2010 to add bottle pictures, which were easy enough to take since I hadn't gotten around to putting them away. Top picture is numbers 1 through 5 (left to right), second is 6 through 10, and so on.
Bottle pictures would be cool. I like the detail shots too.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see bottle pictures, if they aren't too much trouble. With colors like red and black, it's sometimes hard to tell just by looking at the bottle what the color will look like on the nail. I'm sure I've passed up a lot of cool colors because of that, so seeing what it looks like in the bottle and on the nail might be helpful!
ReplyDeleteI really like #3. Funny how black polish just looks black in the bottle but there's soo many variations.
ReplyDelete#19 with its speckled glitter!!!
ReplyDeleteLove all of these. I want all of these. I love black and greys
ReplyDeleteHow many nail wheels to you have lady? I'm slowly working on organizing and investing in nail wheels. yes I did make my own at one point..but ..too lazy now =) I'll buy them for a $1 on ebay =)
ReplyDeletePersonally, I like bottle shots just if they have a weird bottle shape or something. The most important thing is how it looks dry on the nail. You know how misleading bottle colours can be...
ReplyDeletePS I adore the gradients of colour on your wheels.. I try to do this with my bottles when I stack them in the drawer - gives me a thrill every time I look at gradients.
Yes, I am sick.
Hehehehe
Cheers

Okay, I've added bottle pics to this one and plan to continue doing that. I rather like the idea that even if I swap away or sell these colors, I'll always have their pictures to remember them by.
ReplyDeleteshortwidenails, I have bunches of wheels; anytime I buy from Transdesign I just add a pack or two to my order. Someday I hope to have my whole stash swatched on wheels, then I can go back to storing the bottles by brand.
BV, I like gradients too, though I need to push myself sometimes to stop trying to figure out the perfect arrangement and just paint the darm wheel already. :)
After about the 5th grey, they all started to look the same LOL, I love them all! :)
