Franken: Kitchen Sink

I do still plan to make some changes to my most recent glitter franken but right now I have a new one that's called Kitchen Sink because I just kept throwing stuff into it. My goal was to take Confetti Tiara and end up with something opaque (unlike the sheer-ish Twilight Violet and Not Yet Spring).

I poured Tiara into one of my empty bottles until it was about half full and followed that with a generous helping of Wet 'n' Wild Wild Shine French White Creme and about five drops of Borghese Mezzanotte Blue. Then I scraped some forest green eyeshadow off my old L'Oreal palette and funneled that into the bottle. To ramp the shimmer back up after it had been diluted by the creme polishes, I added some Sinful Pearl Harbor, and when that didn't quite sparkle enough for me, threw in some Wet 'n' Wild Dasher, too. After all that, here's what I got:



This was opaque in three coats, so I achieved that goal. I still need to work on breaking up the clumps in the eye shadow a little better; I see a few flecks on my nails that shouldn't be there.





An alternate name for this could be A Little Mezzanotte Blue Goes a Long Way, but that's too lengthy to fit nicely on a label. Not that I label my frankens.
