Smitten Polish Nommy Noms Collection

I was lucky enough to grab all four polishes in the inaugural collection of a new indie line, Smitten Polish, created by the woman behind Noelie's Nails. I missed the restock a couple weeks later that included more colors, which I took as a sign from the universe that I needed to try the ones I already had. So without further delay, I have today the Smitten Polish Nommy Noms Collection, which was inspired by sweet desserts.

Mint Chip looks very much like the ice cream, with large and small "cookie bits" in a creamy mint green base. I used three coats plus one layer of top coat (now that I'm looking at these macro shots, I see that I should have thinned the top coat but I was so excited to play with the colors that I failed to pay attention to that detail at the time). I love that the glitter in this is brown; I have very few polishes in my stash with brown glitter.

Blueberry Crumble has a mix of blue and blue green glitter in a milky medium blue base. Three coats plus top coat for this one, too.

Huckleberry Pie has a milky lilac base with purple and blue glitters. Again, three coats plus top coat.

Strawberry Tart looked a touch less opaque than the other three in the bottle, so I put Essie Cascade Cool as a base on my index finger to see how Strawberry Tart might work as a layering polish. So most of my fingers have 4 coats of Strawberry Tart (no top coat this time) but my ring has two of the Essie then two of the Smitten. This one is a milky pink base with small red glitter and larger turquoise, purple, and yellow (I think? the base color may be tricking me here) glitter.

The Smitten Polish shop is closed right now, but it should open up again in early July. I'm hoping the universe decides I can get some more of Noelie's polishes then.
