The Arissa is the closest to the Kiko in finish, a shimmer with bits of flash, but the base color is darker, and the flash of the Arissa lacks any of the pink that the Kiko has, so no dupe here. The OPI and the China Glaze are both smoother shimmers, so though the base colors are closer to the Kiko they're not dupes, either. But wait, I know how to add flash: layering. I grabbed my bottle of Zoya Vegas Freeze, a sheer purple beauty with plenty of pink highlights.
Once I'd layered the Zoya on the OPI and China Glaze, they looked much more similar to the Kiko. The OPI/Zoya combination in particular would make a very good substitute.
Yes, that is my index finger next to my ring finger for this shot; that wasn't so hard to accomplish but I tried with other combinations of fingers and some of them it would just be easier to move the polish.
Very pretty colors. Purple is my one of my favorite colors :o)
ReplyDeleteGreat comparison pics!

Nice comparisons. I love purples but every time one catches my eye I have to think if I have something similar or not.
