If two episodes makes a series, let's call this Scanning Saturday. I picked up the brochures for the two newest Sally Hansen lines, and as with the Complete Salon Manicure one, I don't want to keep them around my house but do want to document them before I drop them in the recycle bin. (I suppose I could take them back to CVS and slip them into the display, but I'd likely forget and they'd ride around in my backpack for months—besides one of them seems to have some schmutz on it.)
Here's Gem Crush (which I bought all of already):
And Smooth and Perfect (which I've bought none of yet, though I am intrigued by the idea of streak-free pastels):
Hope you're all having a good weekend! Here it's mostly chores so far—I'm on laundry load two of probably six or seven (being gone for Thanksgiving meant things piled up, literally)—though I did make blueberry pancakes for breakfast, so that was a good start to the day at least.
Oooh, the pastels! I love pastels on nails!
ReplyDeleteoooh nice. I haven't picked up the pastels yet. I am torn on those. I did get a couple of the Gems but only the ones that weren't similar to the China Glaze Eye Candy polishes. I keep telling myself I do not need the ones that are similar. I don't think I believe myself yet.
ReplyDeleteI too am intrigued by "streak free" pastels. I only want Air and Dune.Although I imagine the glitters would look pretty layered over the pastels!
ReplyDeleteYou thin the Gem Crush is limited edition? :/
ReplyDeleteI like the glitter ones!
ReplyDeleteI saw these gem crush polish at the cvs the other day and realized I hadn't seen anyone posting about them yet. And no I didn't buy any! Those pastels are too light and happy for me? Plus why do nails need O2? The keratin is dead! The base of the nail is the living part! Kind of misleading don't you think?
ReplyDeleteI'm really intrigued by the smooth polishes, by why do they all have to be pastels!? Hopefully they come out with more polishes in that line.
ReplyDeleteI saw the crush but none interested me enough to break my no buy, I do like those the other ones though I'm loving the orange one an they sound promising.
ReplyDeleteThe pastels are so pretty, should have snatched them up when I saw them in person! They remind me of Zoya's Feel collection!
ReplyDeleteThe pastels really got me...
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with Air, Satin and Whisper :O
I'm still (im)patiently waiting for Gems to show up in my area!
ReplyDeleteThanks, everyone!
ReplyDeleteturtlechick, I'm pretty sure you do not need the Gems that are like Eye Candy. I will know for sure when my Eye Candy gets here and I can do comps. :)
kittypolishnbags, I don't think the Gems are LE--there's no sign of that on the display, and the bottles have numbers as well as names. Usually SH LEs only have names.
Fingers, I thought the oxygen thing was silly, too. Guess they have to think of something to say to set them apart.
Jacqui, I'm wondering if it has something to do with the ridge filling aspect; a lot of ridge filler bases are milky. But could be they just decided to start with pastels and will expand later.
