Thanks to the kind folks at Zoya, today I have the Beach part of the Beach & Surf collection for Summer 2012. Beach is six colors, five cremes and one shimmer.
Reagan is described on the Zoya website as "a deep, cool fuchsia pink with subtle blue undertone". My camera really seemed to like that blue undertone, as my photos of this all looked more purple than pink. I did some post-camera pre-posting color correction to get the polish to look more true to life, but it's still showing a touch more purple here than it really is.
Lara is a bright rose pink creme.
Shelby is a candy pink creme.
Arizona, also known as Mr. Karen's favorite color in this collection, is a yellow-leaning orange creme.
Tracie is the lone shimmer in this group; it's a soft yellow green with a fine silver sheen.
Wednesday is a weathered turquoise creme and my favorite of this group.
I used two coats of all of these except for Arizona, which was three. Looking at this collection all together, it's a happy set of colors. The orange, green, and turquoise really say summer to me. I did do some nail art with several of these colors, which I'm saving for another entry since this one is already chock full o' photos.
The polishes shown in this entry were provided free for review purposes. The content of the entry was not dictated by the provider.
