I've been more than ready for a while now for winter to leave until next year, so when it came to pick a look for my nails earlier this month, I went with flowers in the form of one of last spring's Sally Hansen Salon Effects limited edition designs: Vine and Dine. This has sky blue blossoms and spring green vines on a shimmery white background.
Because my war with peelies is raging once again, I used OPI Nail Envy Sensitive & Peeling as a base under the strips. This didn't seem to affect the adhesive sticking at all. As I've come to expect from the Salon Effects, I got good wear. Here's what the strips looked like seven full days after I put them on:
I haven't been in a Five Below store in a while, so I'm not sure if these are showing up there now; they often have older designs.
Love the design but I'm not as keen on the shimmery white background
ReplyDeleteI love how those look - they're so pretty and springlike! I've never tried using strips, now I'm rather tempted :D
