Recent NOTD: Massini Pink Thong

I came across this Massini in my stash when I was sorting through the pink shimmers that I haven't swatched on nail wheels yet. I decided to wear it to work the week I had both my annual review and the all-company meeting since it was bright enough to cheer me up but not so crazy that it would confuse or distract my boss (during the review) or people I don't work with every day (at the meeting). Also, if my review went poorly—not that I expected it would but I still worry—I figured I could just get rid of this polish afterward since it wasn't one of my favorites; I'd hate to wear something in my Top 20 and then have it be associated with the day I got that bad review.

I'm not sure why it's called Pink Thong or whether there's a Color Club dupe for it the way there is for most of the Massini/Studio M colors. I am sure I used three coats over Orly Nail Defense and Salon Sciences Instant Artificials with Sally Hansen Insta Dri top coat to finish it off. The second picture is color accurate

Fortunately, my review went well, so I'll be keeping this one in my stash for now.

    Good thing it has a bit of shimmer or it would be just plain dull. I am so not used to seeing these colours on you. Glad the day went well.

    Excellent choice for your reviews - glad it gave you some extra good luck, lol. I'm not into these red colors but I really love the shimmer in this and makes it a very cool color. Yay!

    I love the shimmer in this one. Did they repackage this one into a Studio M bottle? I don't remember seeing any pinks like this.

    I saw "pink thong" in my sidebar and soda went up my nose. It's like really obscene names and really innocuous names don't amuse me but the ones that are just this side of inappropriate do.

    But anyway, the color is very pretty and I'm glad that the review went well! ^_^
