Marina Dawn is one of those fuschia shimmer with purple flash polishes that were everywhere for a while; I think I must own at least five or six versions. I don't recall which Borghese collection this was from, possibly Isle of Capri.
This one is eye-catching; Mr. Karen, who usually doesn't have much to say about my polish choices, noticed this one and asked how long I was going to keep it on (he still doesn't quite get swatching other than he knows it involves changing my polish after what seems to him like no time at all), and when told probably a few days, exclaimed "you're going to work with bright pink nails?!" And yes, I did go to work with bright pink nails, and it made me smile to see them.
Bright pink nails for work hooray! I wait about every 4 days and Mr. Freshie thinks that is insanely too much =D
ReplyDeleteHehehe! I wore a pink like this recently and also wore it to work! I wonder why we think although it's outrageously bright that it is somehow acceptable?! Lol :)
ReplyDeleteI love this pink! Its electric! :P
ReplyDeleteIm all for bright pink at work too!
very feminine. LOL @ "Mr. Karen" & his reaction. LOL Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried a polish from this brand but this color looks gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHahaha...My boyfriend only notices my polish if it has a crazy nail art design on it or if its a duochrome polish. He really likes those. =P I don't get why a workplace would look down on polishes nails, its just polish and is easily removed.
ReplyDeleteaww your hubby is cute. all pinks are work apropro..even the bright ones lol.. well not sure about the neons...
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty and happy color :)
ReplyDeleteThis colour remindes me of the polish I'm wearing right now, OPI - La Paz-itavely Hot :)
ReplyDeleteLove it! I love pink and this one is really stunning! <3
ReplyDeletegorgeous - I love these types of colours! I don't like bridal pinks but I love these types of bright flashy colours...
ReplyDeleteI agree you feel happy when you look down at nails like this!

i don't own any borghese polishes ...I wish I did..because I heard that they have wonderful brushes. is this true?
ReplyDeletenice color !!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, everyone!
ReplyDeleteDanielle, yes, it is a lot like La Paz; I should do a bright pink wheel one of these weeks.
shortwidenails, the Borghese brushes (at least in the current line, not sure about older ones) are wider than typical drugstore brands, but stiffer than an OPI wide brush. I like them, as I feel I have more control than with a floppy wide brush.
