Recent NOTD: Butter London Lady Muck

Blogger still hasn't restored my post from last Thursday; I filled out the form linked from Blogger Buzz to report it, but I may just have to recreate it myself (I do keep copies of all my entries on my hard drive, so it's not a big deal, but they've been saying they're going to restore, so I haven't wanted to spend the time if I don't have to). Anyway, onward to fresh content.

Today I have Lady Muck from Butter London, which I wore as a full mani recently. I used two coats (over basecoat and under top coat).

Lady Muck is a dusty blue with silver shimmer. The shimmer particles did give me a bit of trouble during cleanup, as they wanted to stick to my skin and not get picked up by my acetone-loaded brush, but after a couple rounds of hand washing and moisturizing they had pretty much gone away.

I really liked this one, so much that I left it on all week even though I had the opportunity to do a polish change (some weeks, I'm able work from home for a day, and part of the two hours I don't spend in the car commuting often get allocated to doing nail stuff).

Reminder: there are just a couple days left to enter my 1st Blogiversary Giveaway if you haven't already.

  1. Lovely colour, I like the silver shimmer :) When I remove a polish like that I always end up finding stray shimmer all over my fingers for a few days! xxx

  6. That color is so pretty on you! I would have bought it at Ulta had they let me use my coupon on it. They didn't so it stayed at the store lol.

Thanks for posting the link for the form by the way. Blogger ate two of my posts so I am hoping they can get them back. I never back them up but now I guess I should start. :)

  8. Very pretty.

And..there's a form to fill out for lost stuff from blogger's blurp? Missed that. It restored my posts in their original form as drafts but lost ALL my comments on them since they had been posted. Made me very angry and sad. Good luck with yours.

  14. Thanks, everyone!

Deborah, hermetic, and Beautyshades, I have put Lady Muck vs. Sea Spray on my to do list, which sometimes results in me actually doing things. :)

turtlechick, Ulta and their coupons can be so frustrating--but I can't stay away. I hope your posts are back now--be sure to check drafts, as that's where most people's seem to be showing up.

Jackie, laundry is overrated. I tend to do mine on weekends, so Mr. K can better appreciate where his clean clothes come from. :)

Lacquer Ware, the form was added days after the outage; I only saw it because I kept checking back when trying to decide whether to wait or do my own restore. I've read they're still working on restoring comments, but I'm not counting on it.

Thank you for reading and commenting! I greatly appreciate knowing I'm not just talking to myself here. :) I'm moderating most comments now due to the spate of spammers who claim to be looking for sexy times.
